The O’Neil Sterile Field Pre-Lubricated latex-free nelaton Intermittent Urinary Catheter (ONS) is a single use disposable device used to catheterize without the need for an extensive sterile field. The catheter has been designed with an introducer tip, which is able to bypass the majority or of organisms that exist at the first opening and 1.5cm of the urethra, often the source of most pathogens causing Nosocomial Urinary Tract Infections, therefore greatly reducing the risk of urinary tract infections. The catheter is sealed in a polyethylene drainage bag to colect the urine thus providing a closed collection system
